This treasured tea was commissioned by the Imperial Court during the Sung dynasty and reserved for special occasions and honored guests. Delicate, hand-picked green tea shoots are meticulously rolled into pearls and infused with the heavenly scent of jasmine.
In an exacting process, the tea leaves and flower blossoms are arranged in alternating layers, never touching, in a hermetically sealed box for seven days to allow the fresh tea leaves to absorb the alluring jasmine scent.
