5. Iced Green Tea Lemonade

Ingredients:

  • Organic Green Tea teabags

  • 4 cups hot water (around 175°F)

  • 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice (about 2 lemons)

  • 1/4 cup honey or sweetener of choice (adjust to taste)

  • Ice cubes

  • Lemon slices for garnish

  • Fresh mint leaves (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Brew the Green Tea: Bring 4 cups of water to just below boiling (around 175°F). Add the two organic green tea bags and steep for about 3-4 minutes. You want to get as much flavor out of the tea, so dunk the bags several times while steeping.  Remove the tea bags and let the tea cool down to room temperature.

  2. Make the Lemonade Base: In a separate small bowl, combine the fresh lemon juice and honey (or your sweetener of choice). Stir well to dissolve the honey.

  3. Combine Tea and Lemonade: Once the green tea has cooled, mix it with the lemon-honey mixture. Stir until everything is evenly blended to make a balanced lemon tea.

  4. Chill and Serve: Fill a pitcher or individual glasses with ice cubes, then pour the iced green tea lemonade over the ice. Garnish with fresh lemon slices and mint leaves for an extra burst of flavor in your lemon iced tea.

  5. Enjoy: Refresh yourself with this invigorating green tea lemon drink iced and perfect for a clean energy boost from the green tea and a citrusy zing from the lemons!
