Ceylon Golden Curl is made from the rare Red Premium cultivar and is organically grown using sustainable agricultural protocols. An expert team of pluckers carefully hand-pick two leaves and a bud to maintain the tea's distinguished looks and unmatched taste. 

The Nuwara Eliya tea district in central Sri Lanka grows some of the finest black teas in the country. At 4500 feet above sea level, the farm is lush with two majestic waterfalls nourishing the area. Mattakelle Estate is one of the most decorated gardens in Sri Lanka earning numerous accolades including Rainforest Alliance and ECO LABEL certifications and the Presidential Environmental Green Award from the country's Ministry of Labor.
