Cacao Colada

Cacao Colada features chocolate, coconut and pineapple with an uplifting vibe and a nutty creamy finish. It's part of the limited edition cacao tea line utilizing single origin cacao shells and organic black tea.

Hawaii is the only U.S. state growing cacao, the tropical fruit used to make chocolate. During the chocolate-making process, the beans are roasted and only the inner nibs are used. We take the outer shells, rich with chocolate aroma, and turn them into a delicious tea with all the flavor of everyone's favorite dessert, but without the sugar, fat or guilt!

FAQs

What is Cacao Colada Tea?

Cacao Colada is a tropical black tea blend featuring single-origin cacao shells, organic black tea, and flavors inspired by a classic piña colada. It combines notes of chocolate, coconut, and pineapple for a smooth, island-inspired tea experience.

What does Cacao Colada Tea taste like?

Cacao Colada offers rich chocolate notes balanced by sweet coconut and bright pineapple flavors. The result is a tropical, dessert-like tea with a creamy, nutty finish and no added sugar.

Does Cacao Colada contain caffeine?

Yes. Cacao Colada contains organic black tea, which naturally contains caffeine. It also contains cacao shells, which provide naturally occurring theobromine, a gentle stimulant found in cacao.

What are cacao shells?

Cacao shells are the outer husks of cacao beans that are removed during the chocolate-making process. These shells retain much of cacao's rich aroma and flavor, creating a naturally chocolatey tea without the sugar and fat found in chocolate products.
